How long does it take to get a wedding gown at Lulu's Bridal?
You should plan to order your gown from Lulu's Bridal about six months before your wedding, as you’ll need to allow four to six weeks for alterations. If you’re having bridal portraits taken, you’ll want to add another two months; so we strongly encourage brides to purchase their gowns at least six to eight months before their wedding date.
What should I bring with me to try on wedding dresses?
Lulu's Bridal will have sample bustiers and slips for you to borrow. When trying on wedding gowns, you may be undressing while a stylist is in the room with you, so please wear undergarments.
Do I need an appointment?
Yes, an appointment is highly recommended, as it assures you a dedicated stylist and fitting room are available. However, if you happen to stop by, we will try and accommodate your needs. Please book your appointment online or call 214-871-9610.
What is the average price of bridal gowns at Lulu’s Bridal?
The gowns at Lulu's Bridal range from $1,500 to $3,000. Appointments scheduled Monday through Friday will receive 10% off the order of their gown if placed during the initial appointment. (Some exclusions apply)
May I bring friends when I try on gowns?
Trying on wedding gowns can be intimidating, especially if you have opinionated guests. Very often, we find friends focusing on what they like, not what the bride likes. During your initial visit, we suggest that you limit your guests to 2-3 close family members or friends. Let your professional stylist help you select styles that look great on your figure and that fit your sense of style and budget. On your second visit after you have selected a few wedding dresses, then invite your friends to help in the final decision. Please note that our fitting rooms can accommodate a maximum of 6 guests and please refrain from bringing children under 6 years old.
What if I need a wedding gown in less than 6 months?
If you are on a short time frame of 3 months or less, consider LuLu’s “Down the Aisle” wedding dresses, these can be purchased immediately, taken home and once altered- down the aisle you go!
Another option for some of our designers is to order a gown “RUSH”. There is a nominal fee for rushing a gown, but most of our designers offer this service.
Can you provide alterations at Lulu's Bridal?
Yes, we offer alteration services for bridal gowns. You are not required to use our alterations department; it is available for your convenience, and we are known for the expert fit and fashionable bustles our staff creates. Alteration expenses start at $500 and will vary depending upon the work to be done.
